ISL’s annual donation will help supplement the NCF’s existing educational assistance program.
For the fourth consecutive year, Invest Saint Lucia (ISL) has shown its support for the National Community Foundation (NCF).
During its annual telethon held on May 22, ISL made a donation of EC$5000 to the foundation which is geared towards assisting disadvantaged students meet the cost of their educational needs.
As is customary, ISL also assisted with the pledges during the event which was carried live on local television.
During ISL’s cheque presentation to the NCF, ISL representative Natasha. Edwin-Walcott said “ISL is once again proud to assist with such a worthwhile cause not only because it is part of our community outreach program, but more so because this initiative is one of the ways in which we are able to contribute to Saint Lucia’s most important resource.”
ISL’s annual donation is aimed at supplementing the NCF’s existing educational assistance program that helps provide much needed financial support to students who have difficulty meeting the expenses associated with getting an education.
